They state that they have the right of First Refusal??? I am trying to sell my time share at a discount price and i want to have a smooth transition.

We were recently in Mexico, and think we may have been scammed into buying a membership in the Great Vacations Club after attending a high-pressure 5 hour sales abduction at the Grupo Mayan Palace resort in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. We went to the presentation after being offered $ 250 in free Tequila from a timeshare front called the Tequila Corner in Puerto Vallarta. Now we see all over the internet that the entire operation is a scam, and a fraud. Does anyone know how we cancel this contract and get our money back. We are back from Mexico, and have not had any communications from the company. I am afraid we are out the $ 4,990.00 we paid for this memebership. Please Help!

I own 25 floating vacation weeks through Palace Resorts Moon Palace Golf and Spa resort in Cancun. I am ready to sell them but am not sure the best way to go about doing this. I have spoken with one agent with a large online timeshare resale company. She told me the fair market value is $20,000 for the weeks. I would be willing to sell them for even less than that. She encouraged me not to. What is the best thing to do? It is a flat fee to list and sell with them and there is no expiration to the listing. Is this a good way to sell the weeks? Though I absolutely love the resort, there are some pressing circumstances and I would l just like to pass them along at this point in my life.
