Looking for a good way to travel and to take long weekends in our area (Northwest). Is Trendwest a good group? What are some companies to look at? What are some to avoid? Is there a good after market?

I need a few good reasons not to get one. I love vacationing, at least 3 trips a year. I prefer off-peak times, and I’m not fond of US beaches, I’d like to go to Hawaii, Cancun, mountain resorts etc.

We are researching family vacation options and values. We really like all inclusive type resorts with lots of kids activities etc.. Any ideas?

It’s for Wyndham Resorts, two nights + airfare to Vegas for two people paid. No obligation buy. Sit through a 90 minute speech and get the free prize. Seems too good to be true, is it?
What’s the catch?
I’ve heard they’ll offer you “vouchers” instead on actual plane tickets….I’m just SO sceptical.

I constantly get approached to buy a timeshare when on vacation. It seems an intersting concept, but yet I balk at the idea. What are the advantages of owning one?
